After taking a hiatus from lesbian light
fiction to research and write two large historical novels and several
screenplays, Jennifer Fulton has returned to her favorite form
of escapism—penning lesbian bodice-rippers. Writing romances
as Jennifer Fulton and mysteries as Rose Beecham, Fulton published
seven novels with the Naiad Press during the 1990s, quickly becoming
one of their top-selling authors.
Over the next twelve months, Fulton will publish four new romances: The
Sacred Shore, A Guarded Heart, Dark Dreamer and Solace.
Fans of her mysteries can also look forward to a new detective series, commencing
in 2006 with Grave Silence. Fulton is also
at work on an historical saga, Midnight and the Angel, which follows
the stories of several lesbian characters across generations of the same family.
"The name Jennifer Fulton on
any novel is an ironclad guarantee of a great read. She is
one of our most entertaining and richly rewarding
writers."
—Katherine V. Forrest, author of Curious Wine and the Kate Delafield
series
Fulton blends the romance, the lust, the adventure and the intrigue with questions
of self-image, self-esteem and self-worth, resulting in an enjoyable story
with more than enough depth to make it worth reading."

Fans of Passion
Bay and Saving
Grace will be thrilled to know there are a couple sequels
coming in 2005: The Sacred Shore, Book III in the
Moon Island series, as well as Book IV, The Guarded Heart.
In these long-awaited sequels, Fulton
brings together an ensemble cast in a story that combines themes
of love and loss, renewal and spirituality.
The
Sacred Shore Quick Synopsis: Successful tech industry
survivor, Merris Randall does not believe in love at first
sight until she meets Olivia Hunt. But Olivia is deeply
scarred from a damaging relationship, and has no plans
to love again. Thrown together in a sensuous paradise thousands
of miles from home, each finds what she least expects.
Anthropologist Dr. Glenn Howick is also on Moon Island,
chasing the career-making discovery of a lifetime. But
Glenn must decide whether she can exploit the spirituality
of another culture for her own ends. Another moral dilemma
looms in the form of Riley Mason, a post-grad student whose
love threatens both Glenn's reputation and her most secret
self. Life seems complete for the island's owners, Cody
and Annabel, whose love story was told in Passion Bay.
But Annabel has recently woken up to the sound of her biological
clock ticking. With preparations underway for the secret
rituals local women perform to celebrate the goddess of
the island, the topic is consigned to the back burner.
Then Annabel's cousin Melanie shows up with a young baby
and a desperate problem.
The mother of one daughter, she lives in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains
with her partner and animal companions, penning lesbian bodice-rippers, historical
fiction, and screenplays. Although writing is her vice of choice, Jennifer
finds time for her favorite hobbies: fly fishing, travel, fine cooking, and
reading. You can visit her Web site at http://www.jenniferfulton.com.
